Introduction

The teaching of geriatric medicine and associated disciplines within the University of Sydney Faculty of Medicine continues to be one of CERA's core programs.

University staff involved in teaching are Professor David Le Couteur, Professor Bob Cumming, Professor Andrew McLachlan, Dr Laura Ahmad, Dr Vasi Naganathan, and Dr Victoria Cogger. Lectures, tutorials, and direct supervision of students are also provided by staff specialists at Concord Hospital including Dr Helen Creasey, Dr John Cullen, Dr Louise Waite and Dr Agnes Kainer.

Education

Opportunities for research at CERA

Opportunities are available in a range of disciplines for Honours, Masters and PhD in all of CERA's Research areas. The training facilities on the Concord Hospital Campus range from laboratory-based research through applied clinical research to epidemiology and population-based studies.
